I learned a wonderful lesson about the sharing of resources from the years I lived in ashrams. I lived in an ashram of about 50 people on a beautiful lake in Canada.
We had about 3 cars between us and about 12 land lines, the days before cell phones. Cooking was done by 2 or 3 people. The cost of living was only a few hundred dollars per person (early 1990s prices).
I believe we are about to see dramatic changes in our economic system and learning to pool and share resources will be important
